Not sure what version, I can’t run it to check. And this AppImage thing is a mystery to this this old school dinosaur. I have no idea how to debug etc.
Computer is running Linux Mint 20.3 Cinnamon
I can run old downloaded 4.3.2 without any problem.
I have rebooted computer just to make sure some hung process wasn’t interfering. Same thing.
The 4.3.2 download updated and now it crashes. But at least it flashes up on the screen long enough for me to see that it is trying to run 4.6.36
Now I can only run version 3.
Reading another report on this, I tried something.
I found a copy of the 4.6.21 download that had not been run (execute permission wasn’t set).
I copied it to another folder, set the execute permission, and ran it.
It updated but I didn’t restart.
I then unmaximized the window and closed it.
I relaunced it and it ran without crashing. I confirmed that it was indeed 4.6.36 that was running.
I then maximized the window and it crashed.
How the hell do I turn off automatic updates???

This was a bug in Electron that I believe is fixed now. I am actually updating now and hoping to do a new release. Apologies for the delay - I have been out of country and came home to a flooded home so been out of commission for a bit.
You can stay offline once you find a stable version of RT, but if you go online, it will automatically update again.
