Hello. I read information somewhere when buying the roaster that it has the ability to cool the roasted beans and at the same time preheat the drum for the next batch. My RoastTime has limited functionality. Can this function be somehow activated or will I have to suffer forever?

Don’t think you can do it through RT. Here’s how.

Use the control panel to end the roast by pressing PRS, then drop the beans into the cooling tray. Once they are cooling, press F1. Adjust the Preheat Temp using the +/- buttons above F1 if you want to change, then press PRS. Preheat will start while Cooling continues.

Edit- if you’re doing back-to-back roasts with a Recipe, the 2nd and later roasts can be done at a different Preheat than what was coded in the Recipe. That adds a lot of flexibility to the Recipe. The 1st roast with a Recipe, however, must be done at what is saved in the Recipe code for initial conditions.

It is pretty easy, but I think you might need to use the same recipe, but that has never been a problem for me,
