I am new. Everyone says pull the drum forward to close the gap to 1mm. however after I pull the plate, controller etc. I cannot get the drum forward because (I guess) I don’t know how to do it. Is there a video or something that will guide this? I have an R2 and small beans are flying out from under the door and in other roasts I have to put a rubber band on the door when roasting because the door then scrapes and knocks the door open.
Grab it through the door opening and pull it forward (when it’s cold) - might need to remove the handle.

Thank You. But the drum won’t move forward. On a GREAT note tonight I got a call from Taiwan and Matt is seeing me through this issue. Turns out they are very familiar with this problem. I give them 5 stars for how they are handling this because they are sending a replacement. Matt explained what was wrong after watching the issue through Facetime. Great service.
