I think my issue is poor USB connection, actually. I can see the Bullet appear and disappear on USB when I move the cable slightly. The problem seems to be at the computer end, where I have a little USB-C adapter.
Why not buy a cable with micro USB on one end and C on the other? If you don’t have someone around that makes cables, I’m sure you can find one on your part of the world Amazon.
