I’m trying to make the call on 110V vs. 220V input voltage. Does anyone have a strong opinion either way? I have to run the power either way.
I’d use whatever is normal in your country, so you can move the roaster to a different house/room without hiring an electrician.
And maybe there’d be less waiting for replacement parts if you ever need service (I’m guessing, don’t really know how that works.)
edit: I’m in USA and use 110V. I don’t have any trouble roasting 1kg batches.
Thanks for the feedback Damon. Have you done batch to back batches?
Nice. Thanks for the feedback.
sure thing
I asked that question to Aillio for my US machine. Running 220v is cheaper, but the response I got said it would provide more stability and power output. I went with the 220v version. It will make it difficult to resell in the US.
It’s a good point, some people will be keen on getting 220v but it certainly will be harder to resell.
