Adding a handle to the chaff collector so I don't drop it

Anyone done this? I find it tricky to get a firm grip on the chaff collector and fear dropping it when I empty it, especially when it’s hot. It’d be easy to drill a couple holes in the collector and attach a kitchen cabinet handle.

I thought I’d ask before doing it and see if there are better ideas.
Thanks. Michael

Hi,

Personally, I’d hold the Chaff Collector from the bottom; The Chaff Collector Seal (Rubber) provides a little bit of grip. After taking off I’d hold it like a bowl.

Drilling holes on the Chaff Collectors are not advised. If the holes are not sealed properly, the airflow will be affected and some chaff might fall out. Occasionally the oil condenses in Chaff Collectors; oil dripping out of the holes is foreseeable.

Best regards,
Kevin
