AI Predictions on the updated RoasTime is Brilliant

I saw the updated RoasTime when it came out. The UI was very slick and was quite wowed by it. Didn’t get to roast any beans till two days ago and that is when I saw the updated AI predictions. I have had it turned on since it came out and it has been nothing more than the orange dots that did not mean much. The updated feature is something else though.

I did five B2B roasts and I did not understand much of what it was on the first roast apart from the fact that it was a much more elaborate predictor. Giving it a more intensive and careful look from the second roast onwards, I managed to figure out how it works and one word for it is, brilliant. This is a great addition and a wonderfully implemented.

I have roasted quite a bit on my Bullet R1 V2 and over the years, I work with temperature and time (period - Maillard of 5 mins mostly) in working out my profile. During B2B roasts, as the chaff filter gets clogged and the airflow changes I need to make intuitive interventions of P & F to reach my milestones (this, as I understand, is taken care with flowsense in the R2). Earlier, I had fitted an exhaust temp sensor that helped me make those changes. During my last set of roasts, I managed to reach my milestones to an accuracy of +/-5 seconds using the AI Predictor.

Brilliant innovation and way to go development team!!!
