Back Bearing

Is there a guide someplace showing how to remove the back bearing? I assume if the front bearing needs replacing, the back should be checked too?

I assume this is a more advanced maneuver, since I don’t see it in the manual.

Thanks!

I wouldn’t assume that.

The front bearing carries the weight of the front of the drum plus a load forward to keep the drum from contacting the front plate. That forward load occurs because the rear of the roaster is slightly higher than the front of the roaster (plus it feels like there may be a spring pushing the drum forward). The rear bearing only carries the weight of the rear of the drum… it does nothing to keep the drum from pressing forward.
