Bean temp too high when roasting Brazilian beans

Has anyone every noticed ERC 1 when trying to get to a dark roast (full city +) on a specific bean? For me the issue arises specifically on two different Brazilian beans.

Not sure if this is still relevant at all, but with the ERC1 error, I think that is the induction element overheating which is actually the element beneath the roaster itself and behind the metal grate. I had to start roasting with a fan blowing on the power plug to avoid this when roasting larger batches.
