Whew…how to make an entry to get support was a bit unclear… or even if I am at the right location with this?
I got my R2 about 3 weeks ago…via the US to me in the Rep of Panama then another 2 weeks to get setup with a 220 outlet that fit my R2 cable and the wall outlet.
I am looking to see if the firmware needs updated or not. I followed the instructions up to where I hit the + on the fan drum for the FW update and nothing happens…no flashing light. The drive for the R2 on the computer shows a firmware folder. I note nothing in it. I do not see a URL to get a firmware file? in this manual for the R2…like I see in the manual I have on my cell for the R2. I have hit a wall…I am confused what if anything to make sure that the firmware is up to date or not.
On another point. Does or is the Roastime software designed to only record roasts or does is uses recipes to auto roast batches? Does it send commands to the R2 that changes the settings for a roast?
