Bullet randomly rebooting

I’ve been having an issue in the last couple weeks. One of my bullets randomly reboots during a roast. It happened both during roasts and during the cooldown of the beans.

When it does, there’s a little noise (short, same as when a roast is finished in recipe mode) and then 2 or 3 seconds later, it just reboots and stays Off (drum not turning) until I turn it back to pre-heating. Sucks a bit since I’ve messed up some batches and I’m also worried about heat dissipation while the roaster is rebooting, it happened once at something like 205C and the coffee just kept cracking in the inert drum…

I have 2 bullets connected on the same circuit and running at the same time. I’ve never had any issue and the 1st bullet doesn’t reboot so I’m pretty sure this isn’t an electrical problem on my end.

Might have something to do with overheating but I’m really not sure since it’s not that hot and the sensors are clean and show accurate data (compared to my 2nd bullet).

Any ideas I could explore or maybe things I could test to narrow-down the problem? Thanks!

Hi @nucleus,

Thank you for the post. We couldn’t pinpoint the real cause with the given information, but your Bullet is potentially having a connection issue, specifically on the Control PCB Module and Induction PCB Module (Cable A).

You can try disconnecting and reconnecting the Cable A on both ends, and then check if the issue goes away. If the issue persists or if you’re not sure how to do so, please contact [email protected] or create a ticket for further assistance.

Best regards,
Kevin
