Caff in the final roast

I have an R2. I roast my own home grown beans. I switched to another batch of beans that could be 1 or 2 or 3 years in storage.

This bean is generating a lot of chaff. Also most the beans in the final roast have chaff bits in the beans seam beside mixed in with the roasted beans.

This is a new situation. I have been roasting about 25 batches. I am about 7 roasts of about 600 grams each since replacing the drum on my R2. I account for the increase chaff after a roast from the switch to a different sack of my beans. Caturra/Catuai/a little Typica

Medium City Roasts (roughly)

I roast at 230 C
