Certification Status for Bullet R2

Ah, that makes sense!

My brain puzzle now is to figure out the search term to look for Australian certification, which may or may not be on their website already…

There won’t be a specific one for Australia as they use the CB report. The distributor has to file the rest of the documents and transfer over the safety certificate - if I am to understand the process correctly.

So did the local distributor file the documents a month ago when the Japanese CB certification was granted?

What are the implications for being able to place orders for Australian deliveries?

…44 more sleeps until Christmas (Australian Santa is profusely sweating)!!!

PS: I know that I am becoming annoying and should get a life!

I do not know about that.
I would reach out to ECA and hear what they have to say.

OK Jacob, this is killing me…

I am still wondering about the certification status/availability of the R2 Pro for the Australian market.

I did try sending off an enquiry to TUV Rheinland Australia, as you suggested, but never received a response from them. I then tried to contact a local Aillio reseller for further information. Other than hearing that some units had been sent to Australia for evaluation by the certification authority, that did not lead to any useful insights either.

If I knew where to ask either at the certification authority or the proper official distributor who is responsible for Australia (I am not sure who that actually is) , I am happy to follow up myself.

In any case, the 6 week period since 26 September has passed, so I was just wondering…
