I have roasted on the Bullet for a few months now and have done the deep cleaning regularly. Recently I noticed that the chaffcollector is getting exceedingly hot after just one roast.
The fan and the impeller seem to be working and the filter is clean.
Has anyone experienced this and can suggest a probable cause and solution?

Yes! My chaff collector has warped.
There is an irony to the Bullet, in that the hot air is beneficial to the roast, but then the chaff box warps, and suddenly the airflow is fukt. So, you have to find a way to keep things at a certain baseline. I believe roasting on the bullet at sea level is perhaps more ideal.
Look for air gaps. Look for air blockages.
Regardless, even under normal operation, the chaff box gets hot. I hope the plastic VOC’s are not too bad.
