Closing Message Window in Roast Time for Mac

I clicked on the message icon in Roast Time during a roast. The message window popped up and I couldn’t find any way to close it. I ended up shutting down the software and finishing the roast manually. Am I missing something or is this a bug in the software?

Not familiar with a Mac keyboard; on a Win 10 machine it disappears by hitting the Escape key.

Same thing happens to me. It’s a bug. One among many!

In RT 2.5.5(.203)-beta, when you open the Settings or Messages windows, it fills the entire RT window with a grey field and the Settings or Messages box is centered. There’s now a white X in the upper right of the grey field to close the window.
