Wanted to give you an update on the Comms Service crashes some of you hit on older macOS versions. Short version: we changed the machines we build the app on, and that ended up not playing nice with older macOS versions and caused a crash loop for anyone on those. We’ve switched back to the old build setup and pushed v3.20.1 out to everyone on macOS, which fixes it. If you’re still crashing after updating, let us know here or through support.
Separately, if you installed the v658 beta firmware (now removed for install) and use the USB-C connector to connect your R1, there is a chance you are having USB connectivity issues. This one’s not fixable with a software update, unfortunately, so if that’s happened to you, reach out to support and we’ll get it sorted.
