Replied to your ticket @highstar . @billc Is in the beta cohort which is why his is fixed. I just released this same version to the rest of you. (Client v1.146.1)
I have a Mac so I now have my Library Doc opened but there is nothing in the file that says âdependenciesâ so I donât know what to delete. What do I delete? I also went to Terminal and typed in the MacOS terminal command and hit enter. Then downloaded v4.8. Version and started roaster. Same error message after machine says itâs ready. Thank you - Dave
@dgurchiek.SCFO Can you clarify what error message? There would be no error message involved with this issue.
Maybe it would be better to release less often and optimize for better quality.
Hello,
The roaster is not able to connect after I tried
- Ran the Terminal code.
- Manual clearing, except there was no deps files to be found in the App Support folder.
- Reinstall Roastime.
Setup:
Mac OS Sequoia 15.3.1
Roastime v4.10.3
It is likely a software issue as a Win laptop with v3 ran fine.
Please advise what else can I try? Thanks.
I am on Roastime v4.6.26, just downloaded it on Monday for new Mac mini running 15.3.1
strange you are running v4.10.3? unless something has change since Monday, 2/10/25?
I donât know what version was on offer 2/10/25, but I just downloaded RT 4.10.3 (from https://roastime4.aillio.com). Praying that it fixes the connection issue. Itâs so painful to have to deal with this stuff every couple of months (every time I run out of coffee and need to roast).
I went to the link you provided, same place I got my version: even went into finder, application, RoasTime.app, get info: version 4.6.26
I do not understand why mine is different, but I am not having connection problems either?
that is odd . . . Iâm not very techy, but Âżclear browser cache and restart computer? You download the installer, open it, and drag the app to Applications folder, then do command-I on it and it says 4.6.26? For what itâs worth, I usually create a folder in Applications, âRoastime older versionâ before installing a new version, in case the new one doesnât work. Maybe try dragging ânewâ app elsewhere, like into the Downloads folder, and checking its info there?
