Just calibrated the exhaust fan after a big deep clean. Noticed recently that chaff collector is not filled up as much and more chaff and smoke being drawn to the front of the roaster.
Decided to clean down and calibrate.
Now the cooling fan is on in all modes. Any suggestions?

The cooling tray fan is intentionally always on. The speed changes when needed for Cool mode but always returns to that low speed at the end of the cycle.

Thanks Bruce, i was wondering if that was the case. Having trouble with air flow and was troubleshooting if the cooling tray fan was bringing an airflow bias towards the front of the roaster.

As you now know, that fan does little more than keep chaff in the cooling bowl after it dribbles out the bottom of the front plate. I’ll speculate that’s the intended purpose, but… ??
