I’ve just updated to the latest roast time and can’t for the life of me figure out how to edit recipes.
What happened to that functionality?
I also can’t even figure out how to create a recipe either.
I feel like I’m missing something in the UI that 's supposed to be obvious. Thanks for any guidance. This is super confusing and frustrating. I’ve attached two screenshots that cover the entirety of the UI. If someone could circle where I’m supposed to click to edit, I’d appreciate it.
Aso, just to be clear, nothing within the Recipe Action timeline is clickable. Can’t click the thermometer icons, the temp and time settings in the middle or the power/fan levels on the right.
Well, figured out what was up.
The screen above is what you seen when you open Roastime and aren’t connected to the roaster. When connected to the roaster it works as before.
I’m not a fan of this change. I like to review previous roasts and adjust recipes before a roast session.
In your screenshot, it looks like Roast.World is being displayed inside Roastime.
Since Roast.World doesn’t include a Recipe Edit feature, it’s likely that you opened a bean view from Roast.World in a new tab and forgot to close it.
Yes, that’s exactly what happened it looks like.
I didn’t realize the ‘open in browser’ doesn’t actually swap apps over to safari/default browser but opens a Roastime window itself that is a browser.
