Error Code 0256 - Just before starting or during roast

Hi guys,
I’m having problems with my bullet R1. All of a sudden, I get error code 0256 right at the beginning of charging the beans or mid-roast. I already updated the software (and downgraded it again to a stable 615 version), changed the power outlet, and did a deep clean. I thought I’d solved the problem and tried to roast a new batch, but after 5 minutes or so, the error popped up again, destroying my batch (second time).

I’m not quite sure what’s causing the issue. I tried all the problem-solving measures I could find online, but nothing helped.

Any idea what to do next?

Device Model R1 / Board undefined / Serial 11749 / Firmware 617

I can’t see this issue in the logs. Can you send me the link of the roast where this happened?
After you get the error, does it stop heating? Will the error go away after a while?
Also, If you click the “Logs” button on the info screen there might be more useful error codes.

Hi Jacob, I’m sorry I am trying to get in contact with tech support. I am experiencing the same error 0256 . First gave me some chaft error and I clean it and then after some roasts is giving me this new error. What shoul
I do?

Hi @luisgduartegp.IvV5,

Your ticket has been assigned to one of our team members, and it will be processed shortly. I’ve checked your roasts in the meantime and found that the last roast recorded on RoastWorld was from 2024.

Have you been roasting with RoasTime at all? If you haven’t, could you try running a test roast with RoasTime connected? We can then check if there’s anything out of the ordinary from your latest roast.

Best regards,
Kevin
