That’s very interesting, I may give it a try. Do you get much smoke from the front when you drop your beans ?
No, not more than usual.
In the meantime i mounted the fan to the wall, attached an Y directly below and have the cooling tray and exhaust tubes connected directly to it. Works really well. The only smoke and smell occurs when the beans are being dropped into the cooling tray. Only a few seconds and considerably less than during my attempts.
The only downside is that I will have to clean the fan from time to time. It turned out however, that this is actually quite easy with the Cloudline. So for the time being, I’ll stay with this standard solution.
