Firmware feature request, if it won’t melt something important: I like to roast Robusta all the way into a rolling 2nd crack and sprinkle the beans into my arabica dark roasts. Getting Robusta this dark means that I am running right up to the R1’s maximum temperature before the alarms go off and the roast shuts down. I really wish I had 5 more degrees C available to me. I’m obviously not sure if the equipment can take it but I thought I’d mention it.
Someone from Aillio will probably respond, but to save you the time, It’s a security feature that must be implemented in order to get the certification for the machine. The dead man alarm can’t be changed, so you must be present and push a button to prevent shutdown. If you don’t press a button on the roaster, any button other than PRS, the machine will shut down every time, and there’s no way to change that or the temperature at which that happens.
