I’m a personal-use only user since about early 2022.
I’ve been building a home-made roast planner (screenshots attached) with help from Claude, the AI assistant. It’s driven by data from my own roasts on the R1, about 325 so far, and it suggests Preheat, Power and Fan settings and the temperatures to change them at, to follow a curve or waypoints I draw.
The weak link is me. I copy the settings into RoasTime by hand, and with an eye problem at the moment I’ve managed to make mistakes on two of my last three recipes -
So two questions, for Aillio or anyone who knows:
- Is there a file format RoasTime can import recipes from, and is it documented anywhere?
- I thought there was a way to import people’s recipes. Is that still there, and I’m just not finding it?
The planner is very much a personal project and still in development, so I’m not in a position to share it or support it. I’d just like to stop typing 195s and 202s into the wrong boxes!
