Internal spare parts

Hey folks,
The ibts fan is making one hell of a noise - I’ve cleaned it about 4 times now - (over a few months) but I need to consider spare parts.

Ive got a protocol about cleaning it, alcohol, mild compressed air (trying to save the bearing in the fan) but think a spare is wise.

I’m located on the east coast of Australia, so to any who know (Australians, or staff of Aillio) where can I get specific spare parts?

Even if I could get access to a parts list or something akin to it?

Hey tbird

I am surprised that you never received a response to what seems to be a reasonable and straight forward question.

As someone who is interested in getting a Bullet R2 Pro, and not receiving any meaningful responses to simple and straight forward questions about certification and expected delivery timelines, I now wonder about the general level of interest and commitment to the Australian sales channel.

I know that sometimes there can be issues with an importer/distributor rather than the manufacturer, so I am not blaming anyone, but from a potential customer perspective I am a bit frustrated.

So did you ever receive any kind of response or how did you resolve your issue?

Your response could inform my purchase decision, thanks.

Hey my friend.

Unfortunately no, I have had no further comms about it. Thankfully I have only had it happen one subsequent time (a while back now) and It has been through many roasts since and had no further issues. I keep it clean, make it a part of my major clean cycle using isopropyl and also pressurised air (from a small electric blower, not a can)

The australian channels are very bare. I will be approaching the people I purchased from in Queensland in the coming weeks to ask about replacement parts (particularly for the chaff collector) and will ask about further parts possibilities.

Hope that lends some info to help your decision!

Thanks for taking the time to respond tbird, though it was not the response I had hoped for.

I honestly do not understand, how in some parts of the world, vendors are able to publish what seems like a complete list of spare parts with prices (see here), while we in Australia need to chase this information, as if it is a state secret.

Especially given that many users require their bullets for commercial operations, timeliness of spare parts delivery is another important issue. Is there any distributor in Australia who is able to supply spare parts ex-stock, or do all parts have to be shipped from overseas?

If any R1 users from Australia have any insights, I’d be interested to know what the situation is.

Espresso Company Australia is our official distributor and carries spare parts.

Thanks for that Jacob - I have just emailed them to see if they have a spare parts catalogue etc… it would be very helpful to us Australian Bullet owners if they do!

Also, appreciate the conversation Andreas!

Will it be possible to create a part list and names/labels for small parts easily available online like on Amazon. The grub screw on my impeller fan wore out and was stuck for many months. Tried a lot of stuff and finally managed to get it out. Measured it and figured out that it was a M4 grub screw. Ordered a set of stainless steel ones, and it fit perfectly. Likewise, the front bearing and so on.

Going through the distributor, especially in India, can be an ordeal. It would be faster and easier to look for the online if the part list and name was available. Further, a comprehensive part-list even for ordering from the distributor would be great. As I have noticed, internally, small components do get changed and it does not get reflected to the user. I ordered a replacement chaff filter fan a couple of months back from our local distributor for our R1 V2. It got delivered but the connecting cable and port was different than the one I had. As a makeshift solution I cut the cable and attached it to the old connector and it worked. Meanwhile, I tried ordering a replacement cable but was stuck with no clear part number/name.
