Maybe a bean or flake of chaff temporarily blocked the sensor? Inspection showed no obvious dirt but I cleaned the sensor anyway, and no further issues have appeared 10 days later.
Not personally but I recall reading about that before. My speculation would be the same as yours: something momentarily blocked the sensor view port. I suppose there is the possibility a connector isn’t seated properly but after all your use it seems unlikely.
