Hi @blacklabs,
I don’t have the exact number, but it should start around SN 6000.
Best regards,

Hi Kevin
Serial - 2276, so mine does not have a microswitch. We are getting another one, an R2 in March, which, I guess will have a microswitch. What does it do and does it affect back to back roasts in any way.? When I roast more than 5 batches at a stretch, I take off the chaff collector while the machine is in cooldown stage and change the chaff filter and gasket. The Bullet does not throw any errors. Will this behaviour change with the ones with a microswitch?

Hi @cash0612
The Microswitch disengages the Fans running at the back. When the Fans are not running, the Bullets will show some error codes on the Front Panel. Since the R2 (Pro) doesn’t have a Coil Fan 2, only the Exhaust Fan will stop spinning. If you’re only doing a quick filter change between roasts which shouldn’t take too long, you can ignore the error codes; just make sure the Chaff Collector is properly installed and the Exhaust Fan is running once you’re done.
Best regards,
Kevin
