New Induction Board; Recipes not acting the same

About six weeks ago, my Bullet (in use since March 2021) just stopped in the middle of a roast. After some emails with tech support, they diagnosed the induction module, and had one (along with the mesh cover) sent out to me. Thankfully it was an uneventful install (the leg screws were a bit of a pain) but now my recipes, which were quite reliable, are running 1 to 2 minutes longer than they were before. I did recalibrate the fans, as instructed, but had also recalibrated them a few months ago.

How strange is this?

Two things.

  1. Your IBTS temp crosses your bean probe which indicate a dirty IBTS
  2. To check your induction board you need to attach a power meter such as a “kill a watt” Then measure how many watt it uses at P9. It could be that the new board is running slightly lower power.

Thanks, Jacob! I had just cleaned the IBTS, but TBH those temps always cross for me. I’ll look into that Kill a watt meter! (and I’ll clean the sensor again!)
