He there, I just had a look at my roasts and there are some numbers that makes no sense appearing at the top of the roast. not at every roast, but i cannot reconstruct where’s the difference between the roast where it happens to show up and those where it’s not.
those numbers DO NOT appear in roastworld, only in roast time.
any ideas how to fix that? running 4.14.3 on macOS
For what purpose they’re here, that’ll be interesting to know, for sure.
For what its worth, they appear to all start 30 seconds after end-of-roast and then repeat every 30 seconds totalling 6 values. In the corresponding json file they are called “predictions” and they do appear to be an extrapolation of the roast curve.
When sample roasting, the IBTS measurements are very erratic due to the small batches, which can yield som fun results…
BTW, they do turn off with the Smart Predictions in the Settings panel, but that also turns off the in-roast predictions.
edit: Ah, it’s the prediciont points from the roast curve that just happens to extend beyond end-of-roast. A bit superfluous, but that’s what they are.
