Is this normal? I feel like the the bean stirrer moves strangely, as if it’s very loose, or is that just my perception? I’m sharing a video.

Thanks for sharing the video. From what you described, it does sound like the stirrer motor may be loose.

FYI: I used some black ducktape to keep the washers in place.

Hiya! Thanks for the pics but is not that. The pin is ok, the issue is the stirrer. Is very loose and this allows beans enter under and make it wobble and noisy

Thanks for the update. It would be very helpful if you could share a video or photo without beans inside the cooling tray, as this will make it easier for us to investigate the issue.

You can remove the stirring blade and press the cooling tray button to run the stirrer motor by itself.

Possible causes could be:

  1. The stirring blade is misaligned with the motor shaft
  2. The rubber insert on the stirring blade is misaligned or not seated properly
  3. The stirrer motor core itself is loose
