New R2. First roasts 2 weeks ago and all went well.
Today I started with 1lb of Rwanda Kivu and all went well. Next roast was 1 lb of Guat Coban. About one minute after charging I could see beans motionless by the door and some were between the drum and casing. Then the drum stopped and the rear pully started to complain. I shut everything down and removed the beans. I started back up empty but the drum was jerky and again the pully started to squeal. I’m assuming there are unseen beans stuck between the drum and casing. Roaster is confirmed level.
So I guess removing the drum and checking the pully for correct adjustment is in order. Any videos around that will help me out?
