R2 Firmware install FAILS

On a MS 10 64 bit cpu. Oh and also tried up grafing Roastime.Trying to upgrade to the newest firmware on the R2.

First I tried to upgrade Roastime and was told MS blocked the install. I think that caused me further problems and I still can not get it to install without some error being reported. I can not remember the name of the MS tool that I am suppose to turn off that is blocking the install. I didn’t have this problem until now installing Roastime?

Then I tried to upgrade to the latest firmware and now MS is telling me it can not format F: which is the name assigned to my R2.

I’d like some pointers to go by before tomorrow when I will start over. I am ready to toss this software BS and just roast coffee

What version of RT are you upgrading to? What timezone are you in? Would be happy to jump on a screenshare and help you out.

FW 28 FW 106 now on board my R2 Bullet.

There were hiccups along the way, but I am not sure they are something others could experience or just of my own making.
