Replace Cooling Fan

Hello everyone, I want to modify the cooling tray by replacing the default cooling fan, what I want to ask is what are the ideal specifications of the cooling fan that I want to replace, for example how many rpm? what is the size? how many cfm is it?

Thank you

Hi @deijzeren.IUJY,

For your information, the latest Cooling Fan is rated at 1.6A, while the older version is at 1A. You can take a look at your Cooling Fan to check its power rating. If it’s at 1A, you can contact your local distributor/retailer or directly order the new version from us. You will also need to update to the latest Firmware version after replacing the Cooling Fan.

We do not recommend replacing the Cooling Fan with a power rating higher than 1.6A as you might risk overloading your Bullet and damaging your Induction PCB Module.

Best regards,
Kevin

Is it original? Or replaced?

Please check

Hi @deijzeren.IUJY,

That’s the older version of the Cooling Tray Fan. You can contact your local retailer to see if they have the V2 Cooling Tray Fan in stock.

Best regards,
Kevin

Thank you

When I was working I spend a lot of time cleaning out the control cabinets are replacing parts because of dust and dirt. I use a 120 mm computer fan to keep my board cool. I use flex duct from the cooling tray to a iPower 4 Inch 190 CFM Inline Duct Fan and vent the exhaust to the outside. It’s $30.00 here’s a link > Amazon.com I turn it on with a switch when I need it but you could use a ice cube relay (24-volt coil and 120v contacts).
