Roaster not recognized

I have Windows 10 and run Firefox, when I turn on the roaster first and then turn on the computer Roastime does not recognize the Bullet. If I turn on the computer and Roastime first it is recognized, WHY ?

I don’t know is the short answer. Windows sometimes behaves in ways we can’t control. You could try to screenshot the device manager where the Bullet shows up to see if there are any differences between the two ways of starting up.

If it is not connected you can try to unplug the USB, then wait a few seconds before plugging it back in. Usually this fixes the connection issues. If not, try to restart RoasTime. If you still have issues try to restart the Bullet. Finally if everything fails restart your computer.
