RoR Curve Smoothing

Is there a way to smoot the RoR curve (averaging etc.)?

The batches on your roasts in roast.world are pretty small relative to the roaster’s total capacity. With these smaller batches, it is harder for the probe’s measurements to remain stable. I have found that the temp readings swing even when removing and replacing the trier to check the beans, and adjusting fan settings have a bigger impact on overall temps too. If you roast larger batches, the graphs should smooth out. Probably not the answer you want, but that’s my understanding of how this roaster works and how the software and firmware are tuned.

Does make sense. I’ve noticed the swings with the trier as well.
Thanks.

As much as I like the existence of the tryer in the Bullets, constantly pulling it leads to heavy swings in the readings due to the rapid response of the sensors (which is a good thing) but the real impact to the bean mass is not as dramatic as it seems.
Nevertheless - I personally don’t use the tryer very often, since the Bullets offer an excellent view of the bean mass anyway, especially with the new LED on the R2 and R2 Pro.
Too much of smoothing is contra productive IMHO. In Artisan Roasterscope software, you can easily smooth out the curves to look pretty, however then the curves more and more loose their purpose. All in all, constant batch sizes, clean IBTS and clean chaff filter are the keys to success.
