I was wondering if it’s possible to have a “soak” timer Option?
I’m sure it’s possible to do in recipes, but I don’t use recipes, I do every roast on its own. The only thing I do consistently is a 1min soak at P0-P3
But sometimes…I forget to set back to P9, so I was wondering if it would be possible to implement a Soak timer in the settings such as Px for Time x
E.g. P1 for 60sec then P9
As you already guessed, there is already a ‘soak timer’ and it’s called a Recipe. Just jump in and give it a try. I’ve been doing my own version of a soak for years and the Recipe is key.
The Recipe can be created to do just the soak. It needn’t do any more than that. Then you can manage the rest of the roast manually using the buttons on the control panel or the controls built into RT4. Unlike Playback, a Recipe doesn’t care if you use the buttons as well as the preprogrammed controls.
