Software update, New Error: "Your Bullet cannot set preheat temperature to 482F"

When I went to roast some beans today, I started RoasTime and after it started, It told me that there was a software update and I should restart RoasTime to install the update.

I restarted RoasTime and the new software update was installed.

When I started a Recipe that I have been using for a long time. I got a warning message that said: Your Bullet cannot set preheat temperature to 482F

I stopped the Recipe and checked everything and it all appeared okay so I started the recipe again and got the same message. I let the Recipe run and it ran as it had in the past with the preheat holding at 482F.

I hadn’t roasted any beans for 2 weeks.
My RoasTime showed Version 4.9.0 in the upper left corner of RoasTime.

Yesterday evening, I decided to roast 3 batches of beans. When I started up RoasTime, It told me that updates were available and to close and restart.
I closed RoasTime and restarted it. While loading it displayed: new update found installing…
When the installation finished and RoasTime started up, when it got to the Syncing part of starting it told me that new updates were available and to restart.
I closed and restarted again. It told me again that it had found new updates and installed them and then during syncing it told me that new updates were available and to restart.

I got caught in an endless loop on this and the version in the upper left corner never changed from 4.9.0
I tried to restart RoasTime 8 or 10 times with the same result.

I installed the latest firmware update 617

I turned off my computer (Window 11) and the Bullet and restarted both.
I got the same new software update available endless loop.
I went to Aillio’s RoasTime website and downloaded the latest Windows RoasTime and installed it as an Administrator. I acknowledged and allowed the changes to the firewall (which I always do for RoasTime. I am a computer professional)
I launched RoasTime and it told me that it found an new update and to close and restart.
I restarted and it told me that it was installing the update. Then it finished loading and the software version in the upper left corner is now 4.10.3

I ran the roasts that I wanted to and the Error message that I had been getting about not being able to set preheat temperature were gone.
I ran three roasts without and warnings or errors.

I am posting this in case others get caught in this loop. You might want to go to RoasTime™
and download and install RoasTime from there.

@jacob Just an FYI

Also an FYI, my software never updated to another version via auto update, just the components. I’ve always had to download the new version from the site to upgrade. Probably because of the recent attack, the post must be at least 200 characters long, so I’m writing this in order to reach that threshold.
