The name of the app doesn’t come to mind Roast something
I grow my own beans. I like to name the beans as I move from one sack to another. Today I finished off a sack and wanted to continue but then I could not figure out how to add another bean name. I am not a vender or intend to be.I could not find my way around the bloody vender name requirement!
Now I have 3 previous names I gave to bags of beans but this time I could not find a way to add another name. Has the app been upgraded eliminating this option without being a vender?
During this I initiated a follow up with another roast. I punched the F1. I usually only do one roast at a time. However I had to cycle through to the PR? button to get to a setting that maintained the temperature setting I had on the 1st roast. Is this required?
Mean while I am trying to get the new bag of beans set with a new name. As I said that just didn’t work out. The machine keeps reminding me that it “Ready to Roast” Maybe 45 minutes go by and now the machine is shutting down. In the end I had to wait until it got down to 80C so that I could shut it down and start again. Is this expected?
I think got the chronology roughly accurate.
(1) Is this machines app only for vendors.
(2) Does it shut down if after time you do not do a roast?
(3) I’m sure there is another question that does not come to mind at the moment
(4) Oh eliminate the need of a password to open the app. I can see one for using your online message board but not for the app please. I have enough passwords far more important than this one to keep track of

I just leave the vendor field empty. That results in “Unknown Vendor Taiwan”. You may look at it in my profile or anybody else’s that doesn’t add the vendor name. Correction, you should select Unknown Vendor from the list. It’s been a while since I’ve added new beans.
As for pressing F1 or cycling through with PRS, the manual explains everything.
Back-to-Back Roasting
To start a new roast while the beans are still being cooled down, press F1 in the Bean Cooling mode. The clock display will show bAC indicating that you are doing a back to back roast. To begin again, set your preheat temperature and press PRS. To stop the cooling tray, press F2 to toggle to the C value, which is the speed of the cooling tray and press the down button to lower the speed. Once 0 is reached, the option to control the cooling tray will disappear and only Fan and drum speed will be available using F2.
If you don’t charge your machine after preheating, and enough time passes, the machine will go into cooling mode and then shutdown.
(1) No.
(2) If you preheat it, it does shutdown if you don’t charge it within a certain time period after the machine says “charge”. Let’s say around 40-45 minutes after it says charge, but I’m not 100% on that.
(3) No rush.
(4) Once you login, there’s no need to type your password ever again in the app, save for the time there’s a major version update or you uninstall the app. I had to login a couple of years ago when there was a bug and I was trying different versions to solve it.
