I’m writing here to let you guys know that you might have been unexpectedly logged out of Roast World Community. This was intentional on our part because we recently changed our underlying SSO (Single Sign-On method) for Discourse. Don’t worry, everything is okay!
This was necessary to also enable better syncing between logouts on Roast World and this site. Logging out/Logging in should be a lot smoother now.
If you encounter any issues logging back in, please feel free to write here and I will help you get this sorted out asap.
I’m having issues logging in with the SSO using my Firefox browser (118.0.1 (64-bit)). If I click Community or go to community.roast.world I can’t get in. Had to switch to Safari to get here. Is this a common issue? Related to cookie restrictions, privacy, or ad-blockers and such?
I don’t think so. I tried using my version of Firefox and it seems to work well. Can you retry using the Private window (CMD + SHIFT + P on Macs) on Firefox?
There you go. Hm it works with a Private window as you suggested. It still will not load my regular window even with my adblocker and privacy plugins and such turned off. Oh well, thanks!
