Depends which version you’re using and when it was installed. Maybe there are multiple updates. You’ll see a blinking red dot in the top right corner and, if you click on it, it will tell you what was updated. If you don’t see anything in the changelog after clicking, maybe you’re stuck in a loop and you can solve this by uninstalling and deleting leftovers of the application located in %appdata% Local and Roaming (or somewhere else on Mac, check the forum), then reinstalling and giving all the required permissions to the app. If you still have trouble, someone from Aillio will help you if open a ticket, or even here without going to support.
Are you asking if you should allow another update (after you just allowed it and restarted the app) or does it display “asking to allow an update?” after you already allow it?
On my UI, I see something “updates available. Restart to update.” I restart and see no difference. I wish they were more clear what, if anything, actually updates.
Bee reluctant to update firmware because I have had some really bad issues. One time, my machine seemed bricked until Ailio’s killer tech support got me back on track by reverting to old firmware. Another time, I couldn’t get a consistent USB connection. That wasn’t solved until the next round of firmware updates.
Can we see the software page showing which versions are installed? Perhaps one is failing.
