USB C connector broken off

I recently purchased a Bullet R2 Pro bullet roaster and encountered some issues with the bullet. While the box appeared intact, the control housing had pieces broken off, and the glass face cracked at every screw.

I reached out to Aillio, and they promptly sent a new control housing unit. The broken housing also prevented the speaker from working, and the USB-C connector was damaged.

Due to the glass pieces, I removed the entire control housing and the glass face plate. While I had the housing off, I also checked the USB connector. I only had to remove two of the four screws because of the damage caused by the broken housing.

Upon further investigation, I noticed that the USB connector was detached from the board. This design flaw is concerning, especially considering the intended use of the product. A more robust mounting system and protective measures should be in place to prevent the USB connector from being pulled off the board when removing the USB cable.

While the damage to the USB connector was caused by the broken housing itself, I am concerned about the long-term durability of the current mounting system. I hope to use this unit for many years, and I believe that a more secure mounting solution is essential.

I am optimistic that these issues will be resolved with the new control housing. Once I receive it, I will exercise extreme caution when handling the USB connector to avoid further damage (FYI to fellow bullet owners).
