What's your favorite way to drink coffee?

In a room full of coffee enthusiasts, some with decades of coffee experience, and all anyone wants to talk about is how to troubleshoot their roaster. Which is useful to ask and useful to talk about, especially considering how scary it is to have an expensive piece of equipment not work correctly.

However I would like to know what your favorite type of coffee is?

Is it the daily morning coffee? How do you make it?
What, if anything do you add?
Is there a preferred bean/ grind?
I would even like to know what vessels you use to brew and drink your coffee.

I enjoy roasting, and learning about coffee cultivating/ processing but what about the final product?

I’ve been drinking coffee that I’ve roasted for years now and I have discovered my preferences and the characteristics that really give me joy.
I like a medium light roasted coffee with a good body, higher acidity and some juiciness. My preferred method of brewing is pour over, and I use a cobbled together setup that includes a Le Creuset stoneware french press without the press part that I plop a ceramic pour over filter onto. I drink out of a cup that I purchased in an antique place, it’s supposedly Italian. But it’s thick glass that holds temperature very well and it’s not round it’s octogonal. I love my setup and drinking my morning coffee out of it gets me going in the right direction.

I hope to hear about all of your setups, and to see what everyone else here is drinking and how.

Cheers!
