I did two roasts they were the 3rd and 4th roasts on my R2 both manual roasts with the computer disconnected. For#3 I set the preheat in the ready mode. Hit the PRS and 7 minutes latter discharged at a 2nd crack. The R2 was cooling and then I decided do another batch. I hit the F1. The R2 was reading 224 I believe. P was 4 C was 0. The machine was telling me to charge but none of the buttons responded I could not get the P up or down and I couldn’t get out of the C mode to set the D Or F. I was concerned about R2 electronics. Nothing I tried gave me control again. The only option I could try was first dump the beans then to click power of and then on. i was back in the ready mode. Then i used what ? the F2 that gave me a menu and I set the preheat, Fan and drum and did the 4th roast. I know I am advised not to power off and on I believe somewhere in the manual but i didnt have any options I could come up with…I know I needed to cool it down if I decided to give up on #4 roast. Where did I go wrong? 450grams of coffee. Oh another thing when I pulled the chaff collector there was water! a drop or two that I never expected. I have a friend with old gas roaster with none of the finer features to adjust temp or drum and fan and never saw water after roast. These beans are last years harvest. Is this water expected in some cases?
