Preheated for a roasting session this evening. Bullet said ready to charge. Charged the load of 775g and 26 sec after charge the bullet seemed to have lost power. Faceplate when blank and drum stopped. I tried to restart but no response no matter what. I know power source is not an issue as the receptacle still worked. I unplugged the cord and in the picture the line side definitely got fried somehow. After taking off the cover of the control board I don’t see any melting, smoking, or shortcircuiting. Not sure if the cord failed or if a component of the control board is affected. Any help would be appreciated!
Here is the error code recorded in the log of the roast:
Device Model - / Board undefined / Serial / Firmware
Error 32769
Error 32769: 2471
Hi @thewildcup,
If the power cord has melted, the Induction PCB Module is having some power-related issues. Please avoid powering the Bullet now and contact your reseller or [email protected] for replacements.
Best regards,
Kevin
Thanks Kevin for the quick reply. What would causes such a drastic power related failure? The actual electrical circuit it was connected to wasn’t affected at all and it pre-heated fine so it seems odd that is would short like this.
Hi @thewildcup,
It’s hard to tell with the information at hand. As suggested, reaching out to your reseller or [email protected] should provide clarity to your root cause. We have suggested this in case there is sensitive information you’d want to avoid sharing in a forum.
Best regards,
Kevin
@da_kevin I have reached out to both as directed. I appreciate your concern about sharing information. I just thought that if there was any issue it would serve the forum to avoid anything that might have caused this or if it become an issue for someone else since it seems fairly serious.

@da_kevin Aillio support is usually pretty responsive and quick to acknowledge an issue. It has been almost 5 days without a response for such a serious issue as this. I have been in touch with my local reseller but I am concerned due to the severity of the issue that Aillio support has been incognito.
For context, @thewildcup had reached us through their reseller. The original reply had somehow failed to reach them.
Best regards,
Kevin
This is accurate and I received a response from @da_kevin
It is certainly a strange case for sure. Word to my fellow roasters, in your cleaning regiments ensure you are paying attention to receptacles and power sockets
especially when your Bullet is performing normally. Here’s where things landed. Once again, I am posting this as a cautionary FYI for everyone’s benefit.
“…there was no clear indication of overheating or misuse. This can happen when there’s a contact issue on the power cord or connector inside the Induction PCB Module, typically caused by an oxidized power socket. To avoid this, we suggest you check the power socket once in a while, and clean the power socket a bit if neccessary.”
EDIT: for reference, I did check my receptacle sockets and there was no sign of oxidization. Chaff dust in the area, for sure, but nothing that would point contact issues.
