I use a small baby blanket
Another option would be to have a custom cover made. Plenty of sources if you google it.
(I like the idea of a plastic tub, that you mentioned earlier)
I had custom covers made for a 3d resin printer, parts washer, and curing oven at work. They even printed our multicolor company logo on them, i think it was $10 per cover. All 3 covers were about $150 total. All of the covers larger than the bullet. I also chose the premium material.
thank you for that Shane. I entered the bullet dimensions into their custom cover calculator. Their estimate was $28. You probably need to add another $15 for shipping handling and tax. Looks like a viable option. Thank you for the link. Michael.
just came back to the forums after a while away, saw the comments here and had the thought - with so many inexpensive options for doing one-off/low-volume 3D printing and CNC pieces, why hasn’t someone tried to do the same thing for sewing?
guess sewing isn’t cool and geeky enough
I use an old Ikea shopping bag, inverted (obviously). It was surprisingly the perfect size.
