I just got through upgrading my bullet to V2 (and it is AWESOME). In the process, I managed to drop my old control pcb and it tore the wires out of the speaker.
I’ll buy a new one the next time I’m ordering from Taiwan, but this isn’t worth the ~ $80 I’d have to pay for shipping and customs brokerage.
For anyone who happens to be opening their control panel anytime soon, could you please measure your speaker resistance with an ohmmeter? I probably have one in my parts bin that will work, but I want to make sure I’m using the right impedance speaker – it’s not inconceivable that too low an impedance could damage the driving op-amp.
